Had a break in the heavier rain yesterday and was treated to 3 Steller's Jays in the back yard. So out the door I went to sit under the roof eve in the cold drizzle to wait and get some photos. I've tried to get some good shots of the Steller's Jays in the past but this time I did much better. Here are a few that I edited before falling asleep last night.

Spring is here and this gives us wildlife photogra

Spring is here and this gives us wildlife photographers a fun chance to photograph cute birds, like this Black-capped Chickadee, in trees with flowers. Did I have to travel far and walk through the woods for these photos? Nope, walked outside and into the back yard. I was also treated with a House Finch's song while out with the Chickadee.

Went out to Roozengaarde this weekend to see the tulips. Its still a little bit early for the tulips but the daffodils are in full bloom. I was headed for a different photo when I saw this scene and had to stop for a few shots.

Went to the daffodil fields last weekend with @holly_z_photography and you know I just had to find a bird. This American Robin was giving me a run for my money. Almost every time I would pull up the camera to take its picture it would walk into the daffodil row. I know it was just looking for dinner as I was far enough away that it didn't even know I was there but it was comical to me. If you were there watching me I would take a big step to the left, see it, lift up the camera, put down the camera, then another big step to repeat.

It's World Bear Day so here are some of my photos from my trip in 2018 aboard the @mvdavidb . We went to a bear viewing area in SE Alaska and this trip kicked off my wildlife photographer journey.
I didn't go into the trip with any of the good gear I have now or the intention of falling involve with wildlife photography. I can't wait to get back to Alaska for some more bear viewing trips.
