About me:
Hi, I’m Matt. I am photographer based in Washington State. The focus of my photography is wildlife and landscapes.
My love for photography started early when I was given the Pentax K1000 camera that my parents used to take photos of my brothers and I as we were growing up i Texas. Once I learned how to use the camera I would burn through so many rolls of film learning and having fun with the art of photography. I had always been fascinated by nature and in the early years I was taking landscape photos. I got into wildlife photography after a trip to Alaska. After coming back from the Alaska trip I starting taking photos of the birds around the house. This soon turned into a love of bird photography. In 2019 I was lucky enough to watch and photograph a family of Barred Owls, this started my fascination with raptors.
